Unioil Petroleum Philippines Incorporated (UPPI) was given a plaque of Recognition from one of the most prestigious associations of business reporters in the country, the "Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines" (EJAP) last September 16, 2010 at the Alphaland Southgate Mall in Makati City.
Luisito “Chito” Medina-Cue Jr, Unioil General Manager, said the company was very thankful for the recognition that was given to the company especially coming as it is from such a prestigious organization.
"We will continue to support and help EJAP as far as we can. This is also part of our commitment to our media friends,” Cue said.
Leah Flor, Unioil Corporate Communications Officer received the award in behalf of the company together with other firms and individuals that also contributed their time and efforts for the betterment of the said media organization.
EJAP, whose member-reporters are covering the business sector, specifically the oil, IT, banking, finance, stock market and other related business industries, is currently celebrating its 25th founding anniversary.
