The World's Most Eligible Royal

April 29's wedding may mark the happiest day for Prince William and his bride Kate Middleton, but it’s a dream-dashing day for anyone hoping to be a modern-day princess. Or is it?
Will may be spoken for, but there are still a handful of eligible royals living the bachelor life and shirking their families' old-world conventions. Recalibrate your fantasies to these single princes, poised to inherit titles and billions of dollars, who are still seeking their Cinderella.
England’s Prince HarryThe ginger-haired 26-year-old little brother of William is keeping busy with his best man duties for the royal wedding. But he’s a prince in his own right, serving as second lieutenant in the Blues and Royals regiment of the Household Cavalry, after a brief stint on the front lines in Afghanistan. Known for his wild party streak, he’s been linked off-and-on to British socialite Chelsy Davy for several years. Their current status is said to be "on," but American women take heart: Harry is rumored to be spending some time in the States for military training in the coming months.

Sweden’s Prince Carl PhilipSecond in line to the throne, Prince Carl Philip is a carbon copy of Orlando Bloom, only richer. The 31-year-old billionaire is currently studying agriculture in Sweden, but he’s no stranger to the States — he studied design at Rhode Island School of Design. After breaking up with is girlfriend of 10 years in 2009, he’s been playing the field for the benefit of European tabloid magazines. But recent reports have him getting serious with one of the contestants of Sweden’s version of "Paradise Hotel."
Greece's Prince PhilipposA graduate of Georgetown, Greece’s prince recently moved to New York to work in finance and, most likely, reap the benefits of being a 24-year-old prince in a big city. After all, he does have the best passport on the planet. His father was King of Greece (before the monarchy was abolished) and his mother is Queen of Denmark. That means one lucky woman could land two thrones with one bird.
Monaco's Andrea and Pierre CasiraghiThe Casiraghi brothers look like movie stars because their grandmother, Grace Kelly, was one. In addition to his enormous family fortune, Andrea could very well inherit the throne of Monaco — if uncle Albert doesn’t have a son with his bride-to-be Charlene Wittstock. But for now the eldest Casiraghi sibling is keeping his courtly power low-key. The 26-year-old surfer, who recently chopped his cascading blond locks, spent eight months teaching in Senegal. He also used his high-school car, a Volkswagen hatchback, as his set of wheels for years. He recently moved to New York to get his master's degree in international relations at The New School. But as eligible as he looks on paper, he’s been with the same woman, heiress Tatiana Santo Domingo, for several years, and royal-watchers think he'll pop the question any day now.
Meanwhile, Andrea’s little brother Pierre is still playing the field. The 23-year-old Jude Law replica speaks four different languages, plays the saxophone, and recently became a shareholder in his late father’s construction company.  He got the moniker of "Playboy Prince" because of his penchant for hitting the town in his Italy home base, but lately he’s been getting serious with Italian law student and model Beatrice Borromeo.
Dubai’s Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al MaktoumRecently named Crown Prince of Dubai, the 28-year-old is known by his friends as “Fazza.” He’s an accomplished poet and equestrian with a penchant for sky-diving. The 28-year-old craves adventure and he can fund it — he’s heir to a $12 billion fortune.
